Evogen EVP 3D Iced Mocha Coffee 544g

I have tried several products from the brand Evogen, and I've been very happy with all of them. I had also never come across a mocha flavored pre-workout mix and figured I needed to try this. I really like the mocha flavor. It's not too sweet and doesn't taste artificial. It's a also a nice break from the fruity flavors of most pre-workout supplements. I take 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop, and that is plenty for me. I'm an endurance athlete and use this as a pre-workout, but I've also used it during training rides, and it works well for that too. It doesn't give you that burst of energy that caffeine delivers, but for a non-stim pre-workout mix, it's effective. This supplement is maybe on the pricier side of pre-workout mixes, but since I only use 1/2 to 3/4 of a serving at a time, this will last me quite some time!

This was my first time trying a pre workout because I found myself getting tired in the middle of my workouts. This has a decent flavor, I like that it’s coffee flavored and it mixes well. I’m a lightweight so I only used half of the recommended serving to start off with and it was plenty for me. I did feel a light tingling and more energy throughout.

I'm not the biggest fan of the flavor but this thing does what it supposed to do. Pump was intense and lasted almost throughout the whole workout. I like how it combines pretty much all what you need prior to a workout session. I usually drink plenty of water prior to it and definitely eat some good carbs. Overall great product!

Don’t let the price dissuade you. Evogen EVP 3D is made with high quality ingredients to help you workout harder with an easier recovery, and so it’s worth the investment. The powder mixes easily with water (see pics) – make sure to use COLD water! I used chilled alkaline water and found Evogen EVP 3D Iced Mocha Coffee to mix to a consistency like chocolate milk, but with a coffee mocha taste. It helped me push my workouts harder and I found that after working out I did not have any post-workout fatigue or hunger – i.e., it seemed to keep me full. Not that that was the intention, but I thought I’d mention it. And I didn’t have any negative issues from it while working out. Drink plenty of water prior to working out and throughout the day. I live in the desert southwest and it is currently summer with extreme temps so I will likely wait until fall to resume using Evogen EVP 3D because staying hydrated at this time of year is quite challenging even with electrolyte supplements. The only downside with Evogen EVP 3D for me personally is that it tastes very sweet to me. But the benefits for workout and recovery outweigh the sweetness. It's always important to remember that we are all on our own fitness journeys, and what works for some might not work for others. Do your research. If you see a doctor or nutritionist, ask her/him if Evogen EVP 3D would be a good match for you. If it looks like a good fit, give it a try!
